Keep your head and body straight

Have you ever been wandering around a Morrisons store doing your shopping, and wondered if they did passport photos and how much they would cost? We are here to tell you all about getting your passport photos with Morrisons, and how to get them for much cheaper than usual.
Morrisons passport photo
Morrisons actually has photo booths in some of its stores nationwide, so this means that you will be able to get your passport photos taken with them, or have your pictures printed off. Simply getting your photos printed at a photo booth is much cheaper than having your photo taken. This is because you will have had your photo taken already, you will know that the picture that you have is perfect, and will be accepted by the passport office.
Taking your photo at the photo booth does have risks, as there is always the chance that you may not like the way you look in the photo, but you will still need to pay, which is why we have a life hack that will not only save you money, but ensure that your passport photos will look exactly how you want them to.
Passport photo for only 55p
Usually getting your passport photos taken and printed at a Morrisons photo booth can cost you about £9.99, but this can seem a little expensive for a photo that might not come out exactly how you want it to. In order to get your passport photo printed for only 55p, you need to take your passport photo yourself, following the requirements, and then use PhotoAiD to edit and verify the passport picture, then download the postcard sized passport photo template.
The passport photo template is 10 x 15 cm and can fit 4 (four) photos, so once you have cut out the photos for your application you will have some left over, to put to use in any way you see fit. The photo paper for printing this off is available in many stores, and once you have it you can print your photos easily enough.
Morrisons photo booth
If you do decide to have your photo taken at a photo booth then you will need to ensure that you follow certain requirements, regarding your pose and accessories, this will ensure that your photo will be accepted by the authorities.
Biometric photos are designed to be machine-readable and for the subject of the photo to be easily identifiable. You must pose by looking directly at the camera whilst maintaining a neutral facial expression, which means no smiling, frowning, or faces of any kind.
When it comes to clothing and accessories there are a few rules also. You are not allowed to wear any clothing that is considered to be a uniform, such as clothing with camouflage patterns. Whilst not a rule, it is advised not to wear white in your picture, as it will blend in with the background, or any low-cut tops as you will look naked. Most accessories are forbidden, especially those that cover your face in any way, or those that give off shine or glare, such as large hooped earrings.
Headwear can be worn, as long as it is for religious or medical purposes, for purposes such as fashion it is strictly forbidden. If you do wear any religious head covering and it covers parts of your face then it must be pulled back so that the oval of your face can be seen fully. With glasses it is advised that you don’t wear them, as they can give off glare or reflection, so only wear them if it is really necessary and ensure that the frames don’t cover your eyes. Sunglasses and tinted glasses are strictly forbidden.
If you have followed all of these guidelines the Morrisons photo booth should give you a picture that has a high chance of being accepted by the passport office.
Morrisons store near me
You’re likely now wondering how to find your nearest Morrisons store so you can go and get your passport photo taken, the one thing you will need to know about is whether or not your local store actually has a photo booth that you can have your photos taken in. In order to find your nearest store and see which services are available in that store, you will need to either contact the store directly or use their store locator service on the website.
The store locator on their website is truly fantastic and will allow you to see much more than just passport photos.
Morrisons opening hours
Not all Morrisons stores will have the same opening hours, although the most common seems to be 7:00am to 10:00pm. If you want to find out the opening hours for the specific store to get your passport photos, then you can use the store locator tool, which has the individual opening hours for each store available. Once you know the opening hours and which store has a photo booth, you can get your passport photo taken as soon as you are able to go to the store.
However, you can always consider using an alternative location such as:
PhotoAiD
When taking your passport photo, whether you are looking to print it using the template or using the photo booth at Morrisons, we can tell you about what we believe to be the best way to get your passport photos taken and printed.
PhotoAiD is an app that allows you to not only take digital passport photos, but have them edited as well. PhotoAiD will change the background to the colour that is required, resize and crop the photo to ensure it meets the size requirements, and it will verify if the photo is correct. The application uses both AI and human verification to ensure that the photo will be accepted by passport offices. With the app you are able to receive your photos in digital form or have them printed off and delivered straight to your address.
The app is available for Android and iOS, you can either go to the website here, or you can go to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. With PhotoAiD you can trust that your passport photo will be accepted.
